I could do something that adds money, but that would make it too easy. So instead, here’s a trainer that will freeze the amount of money you have. One button freezes, the other defrosts. 15 bottles of Instagrow, here I come!

It only really has two lines in it and it effects ONLY the Plant Tycoon process. If it works, it works. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I’m really not advanced enough in memory hacking to do too much with DMA, but this works on my computer, with the version of Plant Tycoon from Big Fish Games.
It will also ONLY work when the game is running in a window. Alt-tabbing to it will not work.

I’m not skilled enough for that, unfortunately. This IS the easy way though – once you have enough to buy one bottle of instagrow, you can freeze to buy 15. Then it’s just a matter of finding an expensive enough plant to grow.
Add this to the mouse script and you’d have a lot of $ in no time.

I have PT running in a window, then I open the money freezer. I go to the shop screen in PT, then click on the freezer window and choose “freeze.” Then I click back over to PT and click on the thing I want to buy. I choose “buy” from the dialog, but money is still deducted.
What am I doing wrong?

It’s version 1.01 from (argh) Arcade Town. My bad. I saw that you’re not supporting the freezer for any but the Big Fish version.

david,i doubt that you will read this but,just get plant tycoon spreadsheet from LDW official site.it’s easy to use.this way you can see what plants youll get trough cross polination.but heres an easier way.just cross polinate fourpetal maranta and fourpetal ball cactus,and youll get the fourpetal mapel(magic plant)then polinate a rosaceae maranta with it,and you will get the MOST expenxive plant,the fabled lemonbush,you can sell one for aroun 400 dolars.but watch out that you don’t run out of seeds(self polination is the key)well im not going to check this site often,so it could take up to 2 weeks,for me to answer.bye bye!!!

hey, guys, it’s me again~
i just figured out how the PT Money Freezer work in my game (mine is the LDW version)
1. it only work in the FULL SCREEN MODE
2. it only work for buying the “CHEMICAL” tools
well, open & set the game to FULL SCREEN MODE, then use “tab+alt” to go back to the window desktop, now, turn on the “PT Money Freezer”, click on “Freeze money”.
After the above step, go back to the game (FULL SCREEN MODE), then go buy the “CHEMICAL” tools. * please remember it only works for the chemical section, u can try others 2, but it only work 4 me 4 the chemical section.
hope i did not confuse u guys.

Kettelkorn/ no trojan. False positive.
A trainer is more of a “debugger” and they can be quite powerful, so virus checkers tend to think that anything that tries to “debug” a program is a trojan.
So, any trainer is a trojan by definition because it “inserts code” to “modify” values in another program while it is running. That’s why your virus checker picks it up.
Trust me…I wrote these things and there is no WAY I coded a trojan into it. :p

Actually, I found an easier way to add money to plant tycoon, using sally’s earlier idea about TSEARCH working on Cake Mania 2, I noticed I couldn’t get it to work on the cakemania2.exe file, but it worked on the .rwg file.
So I bet if you open up Planttycoon.rwg file using tsearch, (if you need help using tsearch, refer to sally’s comments in Cake Mania 2) you’ll find that it will work.
Hope this helps, I’ve also used this method for fish tycoon as well! 🙂

thanks vanessa – I actually made ALL my trainers via t-search. Once you get the hang of where the icons are, you can even use “autohack” to follow the memory locations as they change. It doesn’t seem to work on the BFG programs however, since they DEBUG their main programs to prevent piracy (which, unfortunately for us, also prevents cheating). Changing the memory values will still work, but no autohack.
All my little bits of software are just VB scripts freezing those memory locations. There’s also a video somewhere on this site detailing how to change values in t-search.

Hi… umm… well… i have tried the money freezer like this: go to the shop then open the money freezer window select freeze, then buy something on the pt window again but for me it also doesnt work… can someone help please? oh and what was the thing about ” you have to put it in the mouse script”? You can sell seeds by dragging them to the trash, but you dont get much for them (like 1-5 dollars each, you’re better off planting them and selling off the plants.

Ultimate cheat…game runs on real time, so all you have to do is plant 15 fabled lemonbush seeds, make sure they are all watered, and set computer clock forward an hour…I made about 15,000 in 5 minutes…

Okay, here’s the real plant tycoon money cheat.
Download the file below. Run the program. Select the saved game from the folder which LDW assigned. It should be in “My documents”.
Remember to back up your saved games first.
The saved game file name should be “Plant tycoon1.ldw”
After selecting it, the program will say it succesfully fixed your save game. Run Plant Tycoon and you should get a million plus dollars.
